Appointments:
All acupuncture visits are by appointment only. New patient consultations are offerred during extended hours due to the length of the session. Please allow ample time by arriving early and by having your paperwork already filled out when possible. Having your personal calender with you enables you to schedule future appointments. Scheduling treatments in advance ensures that you receive the times and days that work best for you.
Length of Appointments:
New patient consultations are 75 minutes. Follow-up treatments average 45 - 60 minutes. We run a no-wait office because your time is important to us. We ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes earlier than your appointment time to fill out any necessary forms and to prepare for treatment. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule you for another time.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy:
Due to the length of treatments and time reserved for you, we ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, that you do so at least 24 hours in advance.
Directions:
We are conveniently located in the heart of Central/Southern New Jersey, along the Jersey Shore. We are 50 minutes east of Philadelphia and 90 minutes south of New York City. Our office is located in Manahawkin two blocks from the intersection of Route 9 and Route 72.
From North: Take Garden State Parkway South to Exit 63, Route 72 East, Manahawkin. Exit onto Route 72 East. Go about 1 ½ miles and turn right onto Route 9 North (Manahawkin Business District). Make a right at the first light onto East Bay Avenue. The office is located ½ mile on the left, 102 Bay Avenue Professional Court (dark brown cedar buildings). The main office is in the rear of the building. The front of the office is our Wellness Studio which is opened during class times only. If you are coming for acupuncture, massage and/or nutritional consults, please enter the back of the building in Suite C.
From South: Take Garden State Parkway North to Exit 63, and follow the above directions.
From East: If coming from Long Beach Island, proceed over the bridge and make the first right off the bridge. There will be a sign saying “Bay Avenue, MV Agency.” Make an immediate left onto East Bay Avenue. Continue down approximately 2 ½ miles through town. You will pass two lights. We are in the plaza right after Union Blvd. Make a right into 102 Bay Avenue Professional Court.
From West: You can pick up Route 72 East from Route 73 & 70. Follow all circles to Route 72 East and follow the above directions from (North).
